Every day as a regular citizen, I get up and do the work of the people in order to provide a safer environment for Detroit residents, especially for our elderly and children. Many of you may know me as the lady who helped the elderly woman who was car jacked at the gas station to get her car back in less than 2 hours. My story was featured on all local media outlets.

My passion for community is the driving force behind my seeking to further represent the people in an official capacity. I humbly ask for your support, as I seek the office of Detroit City Council, District 1.  As a proud mother of six, I am motivated to create a positive change among the residents in district 1 and citizens of Detroit. The issues that I am fighting for will not only impact and provide a better quality of life for District 1 but for resident’s city-wide. I aspire to execute my mission by:

• Battling a crumbling and decaying Educational infrastructure within the city; I will continue to be a strong advocate for the Detroit Public Schools.

• Being a leading voice for bringing 21 Century jobs and Detroit jobs for Detroit residents.

• Being the change-agent fighting to bring new economic development to our district
